Summary
It’s Day 7 of the Olympics and a full day awaits. I start off the morning by heading to La Défense Arena for swimming. Katie Ledecky swam her heat for the 800m freestyle. After that I checked out the Concorde Urban Project, which was home for various events including Skateboarding, 3x3 Basketball, Breaking and BMX Freestyle. The views were amazing with the temporarily built structures within Place de la Concorde.
To cap off the evening I went back to Stade de France for Athletics (Track & Field). The first medal event within Stade de France took place, the men’s 10,000m run. America’s Grant Fisher had an incredible finish becoming only the second American to medal in that distance from the past 56 years.
