It’s one day before the Opening Ceremony so I traveled back to Paris from Marseille for the evening session of Men's Rugby Sevens at Stade de France. It’s a packed evening with six scheduled matches. New Zealand, South Africa, USA, Australia, Fiji, Ireland, Samoa, Japan, Uruguay, Kenya, Argentina and the home country of France were in action.
Andrew Dupont did not make an appearance, but France didn’t need him in their match. The crowd enjoyed a surprise by night's end as the Olympic Torch relay concluded on the rooftop of Stade de France.
